10. Mad Cool Festival – Madrid, Spanje – 6 till 9 July
Only a few years old, Mad Cool is already one of Europe's most glittering, glaringly popular festivals. It may not have the history and reputation for breaking ground that its Barcelona rival Primavera Sound commands, but in Mad Cool, Spain has gained another festival that stands alongside the continent's biggest and best.
9. Afro Nation Portugal – Portimão, Portugal – 1 till 3 July
Afro Nation brings star-studded lineups covering dancehall, bashment, Afrobeats, hip-hop and R&B to occupy Praia da Rocha's blissful beach for a weekend of pure heat, both in temperature and vibe.
8. Hideout – Novalja, Croatia – 3 till 7 July
Hideout's electronic waves break on the shores of Zrće Beach for a week of awesome boat and beach parties that span the depths of house and techno, drum and bass, dubstep and garage
7. Sziget – Budapest, Hungary – 10 till 15 August
A mammoth and magical music festival set in the heart of Budapest, Sziget Festival transforms Obuda Island into a haven of multi-genre music with over 550,000 festival-goers heading straight for the Danube each year. With the sheer breath of pop, rock, and indie talent on offer, you can understand why it's been one of Europe's go-to music festivals for nearly three decades.
6. SAGA festival – Bucharest, Romania – 3 till 5 June
SAGA Festival Bucharest is a new innovative music festival which debuted in the Romania's capital in 2021. Brought to you by the tastemakers and electronic music event pioneers ALDA, SAGA Festival Bucharest promises a new era of contemporary music festivals in the city, bringing together the finest talent from across the spectrum of electronic music.
5. AMP Lost & Found Festival – St. Paul’s Bay, Malta – 1 till 4 June
Showcasing progressive lineups filled with house, techno, garage, grime, drum & bass and more across open-air clubs, pool parties, boat parties, beach parties and even castle parties, Lost & Found Festival has become a sun-drenched paradise for dance fans.
4. Take Off Festival – Crete, Greece – 21 till 28 June
Take Off will bring you, with up to 2000 others, some of the hottest Artist & DJ’s from around the UK, pool parties, beach parties, paint Raves and of course some of the most legendary & intimate boat parties in the Mediterranean.
Focusing on both music and experience, each event over the week will be tailored to celebrate different sounds, in what is already one of the busiest and most in demand destinations of Europe’s nightlife isles.
3. Sound Suite Festival – San Teodoro, Italy – 21 till 28 June
Curated by SoundRevel, Sound Suite Festival is a brand new festival in San Teodoro, on the Italian island of Sardinia.
The festival's line-up of DJs will be bringing you the finest in R&B and New Jack Swing. Honouring House Music throughout the era's by re-visiting the classics, and bringing you freshest deep, soulful and funky sounds. The team will be harnessing hip-hop culture, both old and new school, mixing it up with original sounding garage grooves, and a suite sprinkling of neo-soul, funk, and boogie
2. MetalDays – Tolmin, Slovenia – 24 till 30 July
The MetalDays Festival will present you a friendly and absolutely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for you to just forget about all worries and enjoy your most likely best holiday ever! The festival is located at Sotocje, which lies inbetween the two mountain rivers called Tolminka and Soca. The MetalDays area is also part of the Julijske Alpe National Parks, and the Soca River is one of the cleanest in Europe.
1. Monte-Carlo Summer Festival – Monte Carlo, Monaco – 13 July till 11 August
A Summer in Monte-Carlo. The Sporting, the Opera Garnier Monte-Carlo, and today's the new Place du Casino are the most beautiful stages in Monaco.
The Festival takes place on these mythical venues of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and becomes the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival to host, next summer, the biggest international stars, including Anglo-Saxon artists who have been absents for two years.
