1. The Governors Ball Music Festival – New York City USA - 10/11/12 June 2022

The Governors Ball Music Festival is a huge multi-genre music festival in New York City. Celebrating its 10th anniversary edition last year, the festival is heading into decade two as one of the premier musical gatherings in the country. 

Having moved to Citi Field in Queens last year, Governors Ball uses the famed New York skyline as a background and setting attendees loose to explore the city after the headliner closes the main stages each day.

Star-studded and ever-eclectic lineups draw from all ends of the hip-hop, rock, pop, and electronic spectrums, ensuring that Governors Ball remains one of the country's most respected, talked about, hyped, and sought-after music festivals.

2. EXIT festival – Novi Sad Serbia - 7/8/9/10 July 2022

Something different than you are used to at home: at EXIT Festival 2022 you peak from late at night until after sunrise. Because of this, most of the performances take place in the dark, which the organisation responds to very well in terms of decor. You’ll not only find the stages between canals and hidden tunnels, but at EXIT Festival 2022 they will also be illuminated in a wonderful way. And this is not about one or two stages, but 40! At EXIT Festival 2022 you will find every genre imaginable; from metal to Latin and pop to techno. On top of that, the festival is deliciously cheap. You even have to do your best to find a meal over 5 euros. During the day, it is good to linger in the cosy Novi Sad with its many terraces, restaurants and the beach on the Danube. Perfect to combine with a weekend EXIT Festival 2022!

3. Boryeong Mud Festival – Boryeong South Korea - 16 July till 15 August 2022

The festival is known as one of the marvelous summer festivals of Korea. It attracts mass of tourists and local residents of all ages and nationality.
During the festival days, the quit city turned into a joyful and lively city. Thousands visitors enjoy the various shows, colorful street parade with bands, dancers, jugglers, etc…

The funny atmosphere is created when all the audience is smeared with gray mud and participates in diverse contests. In the evening, music events are held and in the background the shooting of the fireworks that colors the sky is heard.

4. Splendour in the Grass – North Byron Parklands Australia - 22/23/24 July 2022

Splendour in the Grass is one of Australia's premier music festivals, each year bringing the biggest artists from the world's of rock, indie and more to North Byron Bay Parklands in the Australian state of New South Wales.

In addition to the impressive music lineup – global stars such as Tame Impala, Childish Gambino and Foals have all topped the bill in recent years – there are also dance and circus workshops, celebrations of Australia's Aboriginal heritage, artistic installations and a range of food and craft markets.

5. Distant Heat Festival – Wadi Rum Jordanian Desert - 28/29 July 2022

Distant Heat is not just a festival, its a two day event that calls for world peace in a middle eastern country surrounded with conflicts.

On the last Thursday in July, this festival of electronic music in Wadi Rum, in the middle of the desert, is an opportunity to dance all night on recognized DJ’s electronica. An incredible setting for a holiday under the stars that lasts all night, and continues the following day in Aqaba, for a beach party to the south beach. 

Through music, more than 2000 people gather to celebrate a cause through a universal language.

6. Osheaga Music and Art Festival – Montreal Canada - 29/30/31 July 2022

Osheaga is Canada's biggest festival. It is eclectic, with two main stages and many smaller, including an electro one. Osheaga started as a vision to bring a giant European style festival to Canada. It’s safe to say they've succeeded. Osheaga consistently brings a world-class lineup to the shores of Ile Sainte-Helene during the height of summer. It’s become so popular that organizers have added a second weekend of just metal (Heavy Montreal) and a third weekend of EDM (IleSoniq).

7. Fuji Rock – Naeba Ski Resort Japan - 29/30/31 July 2022

Fuji Rock Festival is a Japanese music festival at the country's Naeba Ski Resort. Due to the dream-like location, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of music lovers and renowned artists such as Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and Coldplay. 

This festival is the perfect opportunity to take a trip to Japan and even explore all the beautiful nature it has to offer, which you might not end up doing if you took a trip to the more typical places like Tokyo.
