Awesome tours that DID happen in 2021!

2021 is almost over and we can once again look back on an eventful year.

Tours were rescheduled, shows postponed and concerts cancelled, it was a nightmare that seemed to never end. Still, several bands and artists managed to put on a few shows here and there and some even managed to squeeze out an entire tour in the last months of the year!

But who were these heroes? Here are some of our favourites!

Did you manage to seize the opportunity to attend one (or even more) of these gigs?

4. Genesis - The Last Domino? Tour

Whatever your favorite artist may be, there's no denying that Genesis is one of the best and most successful bands of all time. And since their Turn It On Again Tour in 2007, rock legends Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford have finally returned to touring. A blessing to anyone who loves some good rock and roll!

The band has already completed the first part of the UK tour and the trio is currently busy with the North American leg of their tour. A little too far from home? Don't worry, you haven't missed your chance yet!

The third part of the tour will take place next year in Europe, where the men from Genesis will visit Berlin, Hanover, KΓΆln (2x), Paris, Amsterdam and London.

3. Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy – Hella Mega Tour

After the cancelled tour in 2020, the Hella Mega Tour was set to become one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year.

But where the American rockers finally able to rock all of our socks off? Well, at least for some of us!

Because once again it was only the Americans who were lucky, because the European part of the tour was moved to the beginning of next summer.

At least we have something to look forward to in 2022!

2. Nick Cave & Warren Ellis – UK Tour 2021

Fortunately, tours were not only held on American soil, because the UK also allowed some cool gigs every now and then. This also included the gigs of Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, who gave away 20 shows during the months of September and October at some of the UK's finest venues.

Are you bummed that you couldn't be there? Don't worry, next year the duo will continue to tour in the USA and the rest of Europe!

1. Harry Styles – Love On Tour

Given the circumstances, American Harry Styles fans have been really pampered this year. Despite a number of canceled European shows, the Englishman managed to put on no fewer than 42 shows in the last months of the year to promote his new album 'Fine Line'.

And what a success it was! Fan videos are all over social media and our users were thrilled too!

Ren Pacheco - I’m not okay

Rated: 5*

Literally flew from Toronto to Chicago for this and it was 100% worth it! TBSL (To Be So Lonely) had the redemption it deserved and I was there to see it!
