The Most Highly Anticipated Tours of 2022

After another depressing year for live music, we at Gigit are ready for some exciting gigs in 2022! You too?

Fortunately, because the future is bright!

From returning artists, up-and-coming talents to our all-time favorites, everyone finally seems to be touring again in 2022. But which gigs should you attend? A luxury problem that we at Gigit are happy to help you with.

Ready? Let's go!

5. Rage Against The Machine

2 years after the tour's original start date, Rage Against The Machine's 2022 reunion tour looks set to finally kick off! March 31st is the day and oh man, what a long wait we had for it…

It's been 10 years since singer/rapper Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk were last on stage. We, and many others, are therefore very curious as to whether their rock star skills have become rusty over the years.

At Gigit, we certainly don't think so. Performing in front of tens of thousands of people day in and day out, it's just like riding a bike, isn't it Zack?

4. Billie Eilish

She has only just turned 20, has already won dozens of awards and seems to be breaking record after record like it’s nothing. Of course we’re talking about Billie Eilish!

Despite quite a shitty year for many musicians, the young American singer-songwriter had another great year in 2021. And even though we couldn't ask her ourselves, she doesn't seem to slow down in 2022 in any way. Because from February 3 to September 30, she will be touring again to promote her Happier Than Ever album.

No ticket yet? Then be quick, because most dates are already sold out!

3. Sam Fender

Who arguably may have had an even better year than Billie is Sam Fender.

After his debut album Hypersonic Missiles in 2019, everything Sam touches seems to turn to Gold. It is therefore no surprise to us that his new album Seventeen Going Under also skyrocketed in the charts and we expect nothing less than fireworks for his upcoming tour (and everything else to come)!

2. Elton John

From Rocket Man to Cold Heart, for decades we've had the honor of listening to the genius pop music of Reginald Kenneth Dwight, aka Elton John!

After many years of enjoying his music live, the moment we secretly hoped would never come has arrived. Elton John's Farewell Tour...

Elton will conclude his glittering career in a spectacular fashion beginning from January 19, just as we are used to from him. This of course promises to be nothing less than an unprecedented musical extravaganza!

1. Adele

Few singers can match Adele's legendary high pitch and many will be envious of it. We at Gigit can only sit back, relax and just admire it!

After 5 years of radio silence, there was finally some exciting news from camp Adele this year. The British singer released ‘Easy On Me’ in October (which of course immediately stormed all the charts), followed by the full album ‘30’ in December, which actually should have been released last year.

But that's not all!

In addition to her regular shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Adele will also be stopping by Hyde Park in early July and we have a hunch that even more gigs will follow in 2022!
