5. Halsey

When? 12/3/2020
Where? Manchester Arena

Flashing laser beams, impressive fireworks, intense music and a pop star who just can't seem to run out of energy. On the final show of her Maniac Tour, it seemed that Halsey was giving it all, one last time!

Just watching the show could leave you exhausted!

4. Arlo Parks

When? 9/3/2020
Where? Yes, Manchester

From emerging talent to hot and happening and everything in between, Arlo Parks experienced a large part during the Covid era.

However, it does not seem to have slowed down her success. Because during that time she won one prize after another for, among other things, best album or best newcomer.

Would the new music venue YES have known what gem they had on the lineup at the time?

3. Eric Clapton & Friends

When? 17/2/2020
Where? Eventim Apollo, London

Eric Clapton & Friends, but not friends like you and me, of course not... We'll go through some names from Eric's friends book with you.

  • Paul Carrack

  • Steve Winwood

  • Roger Waters

  • Nile Rodgers

  • Ronnie Wood

Together they paid tribute to deceased friend and colleague Peter Edward Baker, aka Ginger Baker (drummer of Cream and Blind Faith), one of the most influential drummers of all time.

Tip: Watch the fantastic documentary 'Beware of Mr. Baker'! We promise you won't be disappointed!

Of course, we also want to give a little shoutout to his star-studded benefit concert at Music For Marsden, where they raised money for The Oak Cancer Center.

2. James Arthur

When? 5/3/2020
Where? The O2 Arena

One of the most popular singer-songwriters in one of the most popular music venues, THE ingredients for a show to remember.

With billions of streams on Spotify, James Arthur is one of the hottest names in the game. And that showed in 2020 at the O2 Arena in London, where thousands of fans sang along in a phone light-filled arena or listened with utmost admiration to a flawless performance by the Brit. Goosebumps!

1. The 1975

When? 28/2/2020
Where? Manchester Arena

Whether in New York, Paris or Tokyo, for a show in their hometown, The 1975 likes to go the extra mile. In fact, Matty Healy is said to have been so overexcited about the show that he suffered a foot injury.

But of course, the show must go on! And nothing less Matty intended! Moonwalking, clambering, the singer flew across the stage, all rewarded by the night's deafening following. From established hits to unreleased songs, everything is covered in this top gig!
